Just 8 km from Guča, in the Dragačevo village of Gornja Kravarica, there is a Lidovac cold storage facility, which is used for storing and freezing berries. Hladnjaca was founded with the intention to satisfy the needs of every person by developing quality and healthy products, compliant with world standards and regulations. All plantations are located within a radius of about 2 km from the cold store. With that in mind, a maximum of 2 to 3 hours will pass from the moment of picking the fruits to their freezing. Lidovac points out that this is one of the key factors in preserving the quality of the fruit, which they have been growing for over 30 years. The company can boast of the production of two varieties of raspberries - Willamette, large dark red fruits with a pleasant taste, and Fertodi Zamatos, with a brilliant light-red color and excellent properties for freezing and further processing. In addition to raspberries, they also grow blackberries of the Čačanka variety, whose fruits are large, characteristically black in color, sweet and with a pleasant aromatic taste, and Triple Crown, whose fruits are sweet, juicy, and also large, dark black in color.
For the past 7 years, since the cold store was put into operation for the first time, we have managed to provide the Serbian market with the highest quality and freshest raspberries and blackberries through our diligent work. We have been growing berry fruits for about 30 years, and our fruit still captivates with its taste and smell even today. Every year, over 50 people from all over Serbia come so that we can finish harvesting our fruit on time and thus preserve the already existing quality.
